What would the class of my car fall into
stock all around
2.8 litter v6
automatic
aftermarket side scoop
1986 pontiac fiero gt
Re: 1986 pontiac fiero gt
The side scoop would technically bump you to SM probably. I know it seems a little silly, but once you start getting into body modifications in order to increase performance, that's pretty deep into the classes.
With that said, don't worry too much about it. Just come out and run in our STM class!
BTW, if you ditch the scoop you'd be in E-Stock

And I assume you are on just regular street tires. If so, be sure to sign up for the "tire" class if you take the scoop off.

I'd make a fire extinguisher joke but an RX-7 guy doesn't have much room to talk

Thanks guys. ill probably ditch the scoop since it really doesnt effect performance all that much, it just keeps my engine from overheating better.
