DOT R sticker under a hoo

I was at the salvage yard today and saw a sticker under a NA Miata hood. R DOT.does any body know about the sticker?

It means the part is a DOT approved replacement part. Most cars have a serial number sticker on the original part for the car in the location that you are seeing the DOT R sticker.

Yes all of the ones I saw were NA, Right fenders OK poss some slight hail dents. One still has the top on it.130K and 165K on them. I saw 4 with blue color. Hoods are crap. set of wheels and tires $250.00. I have not yet asked about price on coil pack, cam sensor and so on.deck lids seem good for reuse.Plus inside parts. They are at Morgan's u pull-it HWY 11 North Noita 423-351-9543. Dude running the office is as you, seem fit to describe.
