that's up to you ... I've stated my opinion ( that it dilutes the open classes)

Berry, I'll run intermediate with you. I'll claim the miata is slightly too heavy with the roll-bar so it isn't national caliber, you can claim that your's isn't a CR delete so it's not national caliber either. Therefore we run intermediate!

31 plus in Pro

15 in Int. The only plus I can see to that class is run/work orders... It may even give Pro a better group of course workers. Unless they run at the same time...which could happen since the 2 classes are half the entries.. :?

129 signed up now ... this event has even brought out the Bowland's A-Mod "car" .... that thing is a blast to watch ( probably even more fun to drive 8)

By definition, my car and I are intermediates. I will stick with Pro though because that is where John is....8-)

How did that work out for ya Berr?

HolyCOW!.. what a great site.. they seem to have sealed that place again..but the grip was crazy good! I got stomped.. but had a ball driving that type of course. I think I was 9th out of 40.. lots of BIG names were behind me.. and I had a crazy day too.. like I just couldnt get the feel of the speeds till the last 2 runs.. FUN DAY! and still have tomorrow at ETR to go.. :eating:

lol...it didn't work out to well.

That place was weird for me today. The first two runs the car just didn't feel like it was communicating, kinda numb. The only spot it felt really good in was the slalom. I am not sure if it was because the lot has been sealed completely now or what. Not super happy with finishing 20th nor being .7 behind another STR S2000.

Yeah, my dad's car isn't really competitive in Pro LOL. Plain and simple, I didn't walk the course enough. R1Rs drive way different than RS3s, that's for certain lol.

Even after watching my videos and finding where I could of made up 1.5-2 seconds, I was still 1-1.5 seconds off pace. I suppose that 1-1.5 seconds is in the 200 extra lbs, HP+ front pads, and full-tread R1Rs. Bench-racing at it's greatest!!

Really fun lot, the course was really fun too!! I can't wait to get out there in the STR car though.
