May 4th MINI Event - Registration open to 30 ETR Members

Post by thrdeye »

This event is open for registration and we have room for 30 ETR members to run.

May 4th @ William Blount

I've always enjoyed the Wbilly B site, but it is a little harsh on tires.

Is there more info about this event posted somewhere else? If so, there are probably answers to all my questions.

Why is this limited to only 30 entries?
Any special format or schedule?

Assuming I don't participate, I'll probably stop by at some point to spectate since it's relatively close to my house.

Part of the Mini's group Dragon weekend is an autocross. We are hosting the autocross and are limiting numbers to make sure they get a good event.

I've worked a couple and enjoyed it. The rain event a few years ago was probably the best time I've ever had driving at an autocross --- and everyone knows I hate the rain.

Since I just renewed my SCCA membership I got crazy and signed up for this thing! Too close to the house to not attend, and I have sacrificial tires

When I saw "Mini Event", I read it as "small event". Not the make of car. Makes more sense now.
