Not always chris at that same event the gtr turned a 1.6 60 foot time and strano a 1.8 and I had a 1.9, but if you take that 2-4 tenths at every corner it becomes 1-4 seconds on the entire course depending on how long the course is. Both evos had ast coilovers and hoosiers and I would say that the bars were changed from stock as well as most ever thing else that could be changed. When you beat big time drivers in big time cars it is something that needs to be looked at.

This thread is too big now.

If they pass the 200 TW rating and Toyo doesn't slap a 200 on the side of the 195 R1Rs that's just one less tire I have to buy :). I'm still up in the air about the 225 RS3 VS 225 Rival lol, but for 2013/2014 I'll have a second set of 15x7s with shaved r1rs. Watching JB beat James and I too many times has lead me to this decision.....

Cool thing is if I get tried of STR for some reason and these rules pass, I'll slap some street tires on the 99 and run c-stock :-D. Does anyone know how many tours Darrin won in c-stock? An STR car is WAY more fun than a CS car on the street, so I doubt that'll happen.

However, I have written a letter voting no against almost all of these proposals and I'll probably write another one. I'd still like to be able to replace the damn space-ship steering wheel in a miata......

Class changes are the next thing to come. Just be prepared.

NB's are a little better, still large though. I think a lot can be said about being comfortable with your seat, wheel, and position.

Yes, and anyone that thinks they wouldn't... well that's just silly... lol

This will be a 'game changer' for allot of cars in their classes I think. There's going to be allot of people either selling off, or waiting on buying something until they KNOW they aren't getting boned.

As long as they don't start making knee-jerk changes and they wait and let things shake out it might not be too painful for some classes.

Now... even though the AS classed corvette isn't super competitive in SS, I think it would make more sense to put them with us and let them run sticky tires than see allot of AS C5 cars get sold off.
