Is this event open to non-SCCA members? I'm a novice hoping to give this a try before I pay to join.

Due to demand, it is SCCA members only. This thing always sells out...quickly.

But, we can get you a membership for what will amount to $10.

Membership Fee - $80
Weekend Members Discount = -$30
First regular SOLO event free = -$40
TOTAL = $10.00

If you are 24 years old or younger, it's even cheaper for you.

So if you joined, you would pay $50 on Saturday, and get to run on Sunday for free, which is a $40 value. You'd still have to pay for the full school price of $85 online.

Thanks for the breakdown! Since I do have to join the SCCA to participate, can I just sign up for the event tonight and bring money to get everything else sorted out the day of? Or do I need to have already joined, before either registering for the event or before May 18th? Thanks.

Pay for the school tonight, and we'll take care of the $50 the saturday of the school.

FYI - for some reason, the school registration closed down in the middle of the night, or somehow became hidden. Right now we are up to 6 entries.

I've reopened it and have contacted MSR to see what is happening because this same thing also happened with the last RallyX event I set up.

Hello guys I have been considering trying autox for a while now and have been a spectator at the last couple events. Would this autox school be a good place for me to start or should I just be a spectator for a little longer asking advice from people?

This would be perfect to get started. You'll get 4-5 events worth of seat time at the school. Then you get to have a real event on the next day to practice some more.
