When/how do you guys design the course? I assume it's done on paper over a few days until the chair gets a good layout, then the try to throw it in place way early on the day of the event, right? I'd like to sit in on the process.

Nope, I just go to the sight with some thing in mind and drive around the course in the van and throw out cones and then go back and set them up. I just got back from peru on the match tour and the course we had at event 4 was better than that one at peru. Now the lot has way more grip in peru, but our last course was better IMO.

It depends. I always try to draw them out. But at PSCC, there is not much variance so it's not usually necessary there.

Awesome! Even without drawing them out, we have the best (consistently) layouts of any autocross region I've seen videos of or have friends that are members.

How do I edit a registration? Will probably just drive my FR-S instead of the kart since my motor mount is broken.

Scott, you can change your class when you check into registration the morning of the event at the trailer. I would offer you a codrive in my kart. ML tillet, set up for me at 5'11", 160 lbs in gear, with a couple of pounds to spare over 410. But, with allergies, etc. I feel like utter crap and can't guarantee I will be at the event Sunday :?

Isaac - read this if you are interested in course design. It takes a lot of practice to get good at it.

I think to change your pre registration you can cancel your current registration then go back thru the whole process to register the other vehicle. I think.. I always just waited to the day of registration to change the vehicle if I was seat hopping.

Chris, I downloaded that and read every word of it on a long flight a while back. I play Live for Speed on PC and I'm always making autocross layouts haha. Eventually I'd like to come out and help set one up.
