Your welcome.
I was looking at the data last night. Your optimum time based on best segment times was nearly 1 second faster than your best actual time. You were indeed getting massive wheel spin approaching the finish line, especially on the last run. Too bad the run where you spun at the finish didn't get recorded (except on the GoPro). Either the rear tires were overheated by that time or I need to drop the rear pressure a few psi. A full tank of gas might help too.
In the 'if wishes were horses' fantasy land: Your optimum lap using the FS PAX of 0.830 and a 0.975 street tire correction would have put you at the top of the list by a significant margin. Not bad at all.
It's nice to know that my car is competitive even if I'm not there yet.
not to start a sh*t storm..but this right here... is why that should NEVER happen.
I had a ball Sunday.. I thought Jon was gonna get me ,till he figured out the evil curse in Pro.. (never tell anyone where you stand) lol

That's surprisingly accurate, haha.
I'm not sure we ever figured out what was making the fuse blow. I found a stray ring terminal near the fuse box, but I don't know what it could have shorted to. Aaron was doing some more wire clean-up tonight and hopefully the problem will just go away.
I followed the entire wire path back from fuse to its ends. Nothing out of the ordinary. Looks like it was either that loose terminal end or one of the few loose wires that weren't yet connected to their respective device.
We added a new car to the list of vehicles from which we've used parts. It now has sway bar end links from a GT500. Thanks JY!

I agree that an optimum lap will never be used for competition. But the tire correction is a different story. My Mustang could run in either STX or ESP. Correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that the preparation rules for the suspension aren't all that different between STX and ESP for everything but wheels and tires. Yes you can do stuff to the motor in ESP that you can't do in STX, but the 5.0 Mustang has more power than it can use out of the box. So wheels and tires are the main difference. The PAX for ESP is 0.849 and 0.827 for STX. 0.827/0.849 = 0.974 I'll be very surprised if the PAX for my car in street class next year isn't close to 0.810 compared to the current 0.830 on R-comps, assuming that street class actually happens. Either that or everyone is wasting money buying R-comps.

Thanks John! After talking to Dave I'm not sure what next year plans are... he may go back to STM, if he does and I stay in SSM I may try the pro thing out.

That will start happening on Oct 13th whether you move to pro or not.
