rent or borrow a trailer for the Z06... Peru tour and nation

Hey guys,
I'm looking to tow the car up to Peru and also to nationals.

Does anyone have or know of an open car trailer that they would rent out out lend? 16 feet or bigger is cool.

U haul wants a mint for a weekend and I'm not sure I'd for anyway.

How wide is a Z06 from outside of tire to outside of tire? My trailer is kind of narrow. Our Geo barely fits on it. I don't really plan to go to Peru or Nationals. I'd have to double check that I don't have a need for it those days.

If the geo barely fits then I think it might not work, but the width is somewhere around 76 but I will double check.

Allen has a friend that says his will work and I think I'll rent that one for Peru but until I know how that one hails I'm still going tip keep looking for one for nationals.

Aaron's trailer was somewhat tight for my E36 M3 as well, which is 67.3 inches according to Wikipedia. To save Aaron the trouble of measuring that monstrosity So I'm not sure a 76" C5Z would fit.

I think I have 78" between the fenders. Trying to squeeze that in there may be more trouble than it's worth. If you think that works for you, send me a PM, and we'll figure out the details.

James, if you measure yours from inside to inside of fenders, you'll know way ahead of time.

I know my buddy's econotrailer is 83 inches.
Another one that is aluminum I think is 81

If you don't have a removable fender, you're nit getting out of the car by opening the door. It's just too low. I know that berrys car is lower than mine as well.

Ok... so my "plan A" trailer is not wide enough... 77" in/in of fenders...

I measured the back tires... out to out is 75" on the Z.

Anyone have something I can rent?

Found a trailer for Peru now. A corvette club member has one that I can borrow. That's a load off my mind.
