I just think we are lucky to have options at all. My last region had two sites and the second one became to dangerous sure to the lot surface getting bad. If they lose this one ( not likely since its at a track unless it goes under ) they are out of luck.

These lots have zero defense against JetPort once its worn in and the possibly of more space to use.
And as for Bristol.. if I do the course next year.. it wont go over that ruff stuff any more.. maybe it will be fixed by then.. who knows. We will just use less lot.

that back half of the lot at Bristol was BRUTAL. felt like hitting gravel that didn't move.

It works out pretty well if we grid on the ruff part and start on the smooth part on that side. Still get to use the chute that way

Sure was. Ate the edges off of 2 of my A6's!

Good event! I've clearly lost any 'touch' I had with the S2... I had some exciting finishes though, haha!

My tires were by no means new, but the rears still look ok. The fronts didn't have much when I got there left, and when I packed up, one was corded and the other is bald.

Trying out big fronts for the park.

I could now use a set of good corner used Toyo's. I think that was the most fun Lin and I had so far this year

I would think that knives would be really grippy.

The surface felt like we were driving on bars of soap to me. I think my CRX would have loved it....until I blasted through the finish and crashed into grid.

Ya see Walter, We had a freaking hoot. The first run group lost any tire they had due to new concrete. The knives were the new edges of the surface that just killed any tire that ran on it. That said this was a virgin/virgin event. So now we know. But as prior stated a CRX poss could have won.Sorta like being in rain.Any hoot we rocked and had fun switching back and fourth. Still have dead tires. :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

Videos on the new go pro came out wrong... Had a setting backwards and you see the inside of the car great and nothing past the dash. Lol.

But... solo storm and all the stuff that worked together was awesome. I'd love to know what kind of speed Mark, JY, and James and Berry were hitting at any point on track. Looked like I was slow.. and not just my times

Mark and I hit 54 at the fastest part of the course!!!! It did feel slow, but I think that was due to not having the grip we are used to. In time I think the grip will come and that will be a great lot.
