I liked the course better on Sunday than Saturday. Although my serious case of brain fade on Saturday may have had something to do with it.

Thanks to all who helped put this on. I thought everything went off very well. Special thanks to those that went above and beyond, working more than one session and/or working more than one job. All the workers are what made this event successful.

Great weekend and had a ball both days. While not my fastest of days, I would say I had more fun than any one should have. The forester likes to wag its tail a lot more than the silver car did so every run Sunday ended with laughter and a jolly time. Huge thanks/apologies to the workers in the bottom section for getting the cones I demolished!!!

Great event. Agree on having more fun today. The course was a *little* busy, and the final slalom was a *little* painful, but overall still enjoyed today's course better.

As far as my times and driving, I'm no where near where I need to be. Just not sure the 8 is going to be very good on our typical local course. Perhaps it will do better when I don't drive it like a WRX any more. The car is fun when you can keep the revs up though.

Great time today. Still processing the videos and so forth, so I have to look at that.

Big thanks to everyone who put the time in for the event. I love the event for the downhill/uphill section alone... that's a hoot in my car.

I drove ok, but couldn't get around a couple spots either clean or smooth. When I came around the top half of the f-8 the car slid more than I liked and almost came around on two of the decent runs. The second run was sloppy but was way faster looking at the data right up until I hit the cone... that did me in as far as momentum ( and time... D'oh). There was more time in the car and me out there but just not enough runs to make it all string together.

I would've had to run a 45.5 to beat Mark and I think break into the 45s just to be in the top 3 in Pro. It was out there, but just couldn't get it done.

This was likely the last event for me in the car for the region this year depending on how long/how much $ it takes to get the car back up and running after nationals. I might try to score a co-drive or two just for some fun. I know Jim and I talked about running the Cobra once.. that should be fun :)

and I'm with Chris... the finish slalom was tight... allot tighter than it walked, but I think it was ok since we want to slow everyone down. Course flowed really well and if you got it right, you could really string sections together and haul some butt thru there.

Yup.. courses there are always tight. You wanna see some carnage.. break loose there at Pilli speeds.

The salom was the same distance as almost every salom at Pilli.. 20-21 paces. The finish was hard because the pavement had a 2 ft elevation drop between the 3rd and 4th cone.. you had to lift after #2 then.. WOT to the finish.

I watched as most folks drove from one cone to the next.. and it looked sooo painful.. the proper lines smoothed it all out. Sat and Sunday. If Pilson can yank that big Mustang thru it.. its not to tight..

...dammit.
