I was going to leave today, but if the forecast for Cecil doesn't improve, I'm out. Too many holes in my top and 245's with no tread is a bad idea. If it improves I'll head down with JB and Brian in the morning.

Right now, Intellicast is saying 80% chance of storms on Sat AND Sun. No thanks...

Well, here's what I know about Dixie weather - it's always scattered or unexpected. Valdosta is so close to the gulf that it is nearly impossible to get it right.

Everything I'm seeing indicates that Sunday should be dry though.

Local weather - http://www.walb.com/weather

According to video forecast, it seems like most of the wet will be late afternoon/evening. Not a total wash.

I doubt they'll be faster than a 205 bridgestone, but I am curious to hear your opinion on them.

They will almost have to have some suspension compensation for that much more tire. They feel almost identical to the RE71 in compound (using the tried and true, fingernail test)

They just need to be faster than other people on a 205 Bridgestone.

I am so glad I am staying home now. If I wanted a grapefruit, I would eat some grapefruit. Never once in my life have I said while eating a grapefruit " man, a beer that tastes like this would be GREAT!" :|

The V720 comes in a 305/30/19 size. Now I'm torn. But I don't have to pull the trigger right away.
