By the way, Central Carolina Region now has a Master PAX class for drivers older than 60. They've also finally recognized that either zMax strongly favors R-comps or that PAX is biased against street tires and split their Pro class into Race Tires and Street Tires groups. If the weather is cooperative (not holding my breath) I'm going on February 27.

Problem with CCR is that you have to abandon your base class to run the Masters PAX. I like the ETR proposal better.

That's not a problem for me. I don't run many CCR events, what with one thing or another.

You have to abandon your base class to run Pro, Novice or Rookie too.
