Hope everyone that made it to TTN had a good time. Sounded like a lot of people had various issues and the heat just made it worse.

Once again, TTNats didn't disappoint. Between the practice day and actual competition, I ran 8 sessions of 10-20 minutes each and 5 runs of track sprint. It should have been 6 runs but a flat right rear tire kept me from making run 6. The Focus ran great again and I got TomO to make a few passes in it as well to I could see how bad I suck. Needless to say, I am leaving a little time on the table.

They supplied food and beverage for two of the nights we were there as well and camping is no problem at all. They have showers at the track and after the heat this weekend, they were very appreciated.

If you have any interest in track days, I would strongly suggest this event. It's a blast and there are lots of great drivers and great people there. It's an autocross atmosphere with high speeds, no working, and TONS of seat time. I hope to see more ETR people there next year. Mark your calendar now.

FOMO for sure. My loose plan is to get the Civic through this season, dominate at Nationals (lol) then sell it and move to a car that isn't necessarily autocross focused. Probably a new or used twin (which ever one ends up looking the best), or ND2. May do 3-5 TT events per year, and supplement with autox codrives and iRacing (hoping the rest of my parts for the new sim rig make it in soon!)

Chris...I'm leaning towards either a Twin for SSC and it's TT counterpart class or an ND2 ( RF to do track stuff though ). That way I can do solo and some TT and not have super huge consumables.

There's an STX 2015 prepped one on the sandbox that seems to be a 90% prepped car. Comes with a tire trailer and a slambert hitch also and spare wheels. I'm tempted. However, I don't know if it could go into TT as it sits and be in the mix. I don't know the rules there.

STX car will go to whatever the appropriate Touring class is. I would guess T4.

ewwwww.... it's RED.

my eyes!

Nice deal but if it was any color other than red I'd be interested. Also... timing isn't right have to wait until the fall/winter to purchase.
