Simulation Services for Road Racers :-)

Post by thrdeye »

Hi guys,

I mentioned last night that the road racers are welcome to come over and hop on my iracing simulator if they need to familiarize themselves with a track.

While it's true you have no G-Forces to work with, you will be surprised what your brain actually makes you "feel" through the steering wheel feedback and the wraparound 179 degree field of view. Many pro drivers use iRacing for track familiarity and to shake off the cobwebs.

One of the most important pieces of the simulation is being able to feel the bumps on the particular track. Since they are laser-scanned, you will have precise ripples, bumps, and elevation changes and you'll feel this through the steering wheel.

Here are the tracks and cars that I have available. Each track contains all configurations (example: Charlotte has the road course config). Many of these you'll probably never race in real life, but I have them none the less. I also have a few tracks that are strictly ovals, but did not list those.
