I'm also a bit concerned with my alignment as I run like -2.5 degrees in the rear and -3.0 in the front. I think if I air them down dramatically it may help but that's not really gonna help me get better with autocross launches. Chase a low ET or look for the best 60' I can get in autocross trim are my options it seems.

When I'd run my CRX at pro solos, we ran less camber up front (like -2.5) and would cut the best 60's in the class....

...but we are talking maybe a tenth compared to the guys running -3.5

If it wasn't the middle of the AutoX season....I'd be down for this hard core.

I have ran the miata a ton of times at the drag strip and I'm willing to bet there isnt anything that is autocrossed in ETR that could outrun it :)

At a pro solo on totally virgin concrete it has gone 1.803 to 60'(Wilmingtion Pro this year) and has trapped well over 90mph in the 1/8th in the past.(when it made A LOT less power and carried A LOT more weight)

You all have fun.....but let's do this again after the first week in September. ;)

Most any and every form of traction control is specifically banned from NHRA + IHRA competition (except your active input on the gas pedal).

Just following the rules...

It's by class.

Most all high powered grudge racers, no prep racers, outlaw 10.5, drag radials etc etc etc are using active TC.

No way the Miata pulls JY's Mustang. I'll take the bet!

I'm having flashback to Pinks. Just don't start negotiating car lengths.

Man, I would love to see some of the high horsepower stuff make it out. 1.8 60' is impressive in a Miata. I think the Miata and the Mustang would be a good race in the 1/8th.

You sure you don't mean 7.8?
A 6.8 1/8th mile translates to a mid 10 second 1/4 and the way your car is geared, I dont see it slowing down 2 seconds on the big end

My Miata went 7.40s over 100hp and 300lbs ago.
