Andrew is a great guy and really intelligent. Hope he recovers from this.

Good news is no one appears to have been hurt.

That really sucks. I wonder what happened (I know it said welding, but details might teach us all a lesson).

Crap! Hope everyone is ok.

Just looked at his Facebook. Looks like it was Dave Hamilton's Camaro.

Holy crap. I've had gasoline and many other things catch on fire before but never had that kind of destruction. I can't really remember anything flammable in his shop. I hope he recovers from this quickly.

Could it have been the insulation that was so flammable? I thought that stuff wasn't supposed to burn. I am definitely going to be cleaning up my shop after seeing this.

I stopped in over there on my way home. The picture shows the good side of the building.

I told him he always had a good reputation with everyone I knew and to let us know if we could do anything.

I am planning on taking up donations at this Sunday's autocross and take the money raised to Andrew, so if you can please give and help this very bright young man recover from this tragedy. Thank you all in advance JY

BTW, Josh McCoig has been working with him too. Andrew said anything helps and any work that they can do would be helpful.

The news report is a little misleading. Keisler Automation is actually at a different location. They do machine work and build custom stuff there. For those that follow him on Facebook, that's where all the custom aluminum Miata stuff has been coming from. The shop that burned wasn't actually the "business". Not sure how that will affect everyone involved.

Whatever the logistics are, this guy is someome i want to help as much as i can. He has built his own race car and put a footprint in the performance community. Total badass in my book and if he'd ever come to Nationals I'd sponsor him.

Very sad to hear this, though glad Andrew (and Josh) are not injured. Andrew is one of the most-kind and honest people I've ever done business with.

Andrew and Josh have been doing a fair amount of work on my mr2 there the past few months to help me try to get it to run and drive normally.

What burnt down was absolutely the main core of his business nowadays. I think the CNC stuff is still done in his parents garage but was at some point supposed to move to the left garage on Schadd that burnt. The right garage is where most fab work, alignments, and general work he does seems to happen at.
