Veloce Top Times

Post by benk »

If there are no objections then I think it could be fun to have a top times board for our member's fast times at Veloce when they go. I don't think photographic evidence is needed or anything, nothing riding on it. If wanted, post up your times and I'll add them to this initial post so its a little more organized.

Also if you want to include your average lap time or other related information that would be cool as well. Who knows what kind of analytics we can do with more data.

And Ted V, you get a +5 second handicap on all runs.

:lol2: unless I can slap my own tires on the Veloce karts, I'm on an even playing field as y'all.

Actually worse. I don't know if I can drive something that isn't in the air half the time. :?

I'm honestly surprised they don't have top times on their website or Facebook.

Ted, you're not heavy you should be able to put some good times down! I believe Cathers has the most kart seat-time out of all of us.

I think some weight in the cart actually might help keep those back wheels from hopping.

I was a 25.6 or.5 something when we were there. I didn't save a pic or anything.

Being a solid rear axle, karts actually depend on lifting the inside rear tire to rotate, so I'd say the big fellas probably have even more chassis binding/hopping. FWIW Ive noticed hopping on most of my fast laps, seems to happen when the tires finally build some heat.

Im down to a 24.877 after 9 races, fastest race average of 25.3xx.. IIRC Ive had four laps in the 24's - all .9's save the .877

So I learned that if you click on the names on the top skills list, you can see all their times, click on their races, and if you've raced with them, find your own times.
