We typically go wednesday or thursday nights for buy two get one free, earlier in the evenings are less crowded, we've gone at 6ish lately.

Had fun tonight but only got to a 25.8 this time around. I think Lin and I will be pretty sore tomorrow. Had a pretty bad hit that took us both out and shut down the track for a few minutes.

First time I went out, I hit someone really hard and it bruised both shoulders.

Anyway, the pro points thing is dumb. Some of the people near the top don't have super fast times at all. They just have slow friends. Jed had a 25.3 in a race and lost points. I had a 25.4 in a race and lost points and then we watched people click off high 26's and get like 60 points.

heh - Mark got to observe how slower traffic (who didn't clear a lane) got treated at at Atomic + Smokey Mountain 25 years ago.
