New T-shirt design contest!

Post by MARKP »

As you know, we have had the TEAM ETR shirts for a while. We are looking at getting an order together for some more shirts and thought it might be time to change things up a bit.

In the spirit of competition, we are requesting designs from our members. The winning design(s) will be used on future shirts and the designer will receive three free entries to the ETR event of their choice. Here are the details of what we need on a design:
- The front will stay the same as previous shirts
- any SCCA logos used must be exactly as detailed in the Graphics Standards section of the website: https://www.scca.com/pages/graphic-standards
- The design needs to clearly state our website (www.etrscca.org) and Facebook page (East Tennessee Region SCCA)
- The design should use no more than three colors, in order to hold down the cost of producing the shirts.

The winning design(s) will become the property of ETRSCCA in exchange for the three free event entries. The contest will remain open until the last day of June 2017. We reserve the right to extend the end date of the contest if we deem it necessary.

Entries should be submitted to me. Please send a private message to me if you need my email address to submit a design.

Thanks and good luck!

What file format is required? Are you accepting both digital and hand drawn entries?

Pretty sure we can work with either one but digital would probably be best.

My submission. I guess it breaks some of the rules, but at least it's obvious it's car related.

edit: just saw the requirement for the facebook url.....we could do it....but it's kinda long to put on a shirt

Yeah, the Facebook thing is gonna make any design pretty wordy. I'd just have the website and club name. We can always put a big link to the FB page on the front page of the website.

Jess is working on a design that I think might look pretty cool. Hopefully she'll finish it in the next couple of days.

That shift pattern on the front should accentuate my belly nicely.

We will keep this open for a little longer. Chris's is the only entry we have and he can't follow the rules. :-)
