Helmet & Exhaust Rules

Post by toyokogyo12aturbo »

I'm working on a Locost. And want to show up the the GRM $2005 with aviator goggles & a shorty helmet. I'm going for that vintage/dork look. Any way what's the solo 2 rules on helmets. Do you know of any shorty type helmets that are Snell approved.

What are the rules on exhaust? Does it have to exit behind the driver?

Thanks. Shaun.

dang Scott, you have plenty of time to type all the helmet rules out :P

as long as it's a SA or M95 or M00 (no not a cow) should be ok

doooh!! forgot about the exhausting question.

exhaust must exit behind driver or to the side of the car. Your use of the exhaust exiting into the drivers compartment to keep the driver warm would not be quite legal.
