Building a tire rack?

I am going to build a tire rack for the new trailer. My biggest question is how long to make it. I think I will run 15x11 6ul wheels with 275 Hoosiers on it. So I was thinking 48" would be good but I don't have tires that wide to see. Any advice would help. Thanks.

I use this one for my Dry Tires

And that one for the wets

VERY well built, they come with everything right down to the bolts to mount them to the wall.

I seriously doubt you could build one out of aluminum and buy all the fasteners for much less than these cost if you are paying retail for the aluminum......and it would take several hours to build.....and my hourly rate is more than these cost :)

Chad look at the ones Jon Coatney built for me in my trailer next time you are at an event. They can be unhinged to lay flat against the side for when I am not hauling multiple tires.

I have a open trailer. None of the wall mount ones will work. I am building one that will set on the tongue of the trailer. Will hold two sets of tires.

Build frame to hold the light weight rack. Or, copy the dimensions.
