GoPro style mounts around knoxville?

Post by TedV »

I'm in need of some GoPro style mounts. Will need something for a helmet and a roll bar. I definitely do not want cheap crap that will let the camera fall off.

Base plate can work with regular 1/4-20 camera mount threading and also the GoPro style of hook up. I have a ram mount for my ole Contour cam but the roll bar mount and arm is kinda Mickey Mouse.

What's the hook up? Amazon?

Best Buy has these. Also, Gander Mountain might be worth a shot - they sell lots of GoPro stuff, but no one really thinks about Gander as having that kinda thing. Might get something cheap with their going out of business sale.

Sure John. You gonna be at the "discuss Nationals dinner"? I think it's this Sunday.

I think Best Buy has a bunch o stuff too. Not sure how cheap they are. I guess I also need an education about the mounts and what works and what doesn't. If I don't like it I can return the camera if it doesn't go rolling across the pavement.
