2004 Solo Rules CD

Strange thing about the CD that came with my rule book -- The actual pdf file did not have a file extension on it so it couldn't be read directly from the CD. I copied it to my hard drive, and renamed it with a .pdf extension and it works fine. Although it says you can't copy or print, that is not true. Is this the case with other's CDs?

I noticed that as well, mine is a .pd i believe. I just told acrobat to open it, and it opened it fine even though it's not a .pdf file.
