Did I miss something on this one? I'm sorry but pinch this and that sorta sucked. Not a true Bristol course. Where was the flow that we knew? If this is going to be a national course then make it one. I thought I was driving on a side lot gas station lot. Yeah go ahead and blow about it now. Right is right and you know what I mean. Welcome to 2018 crap fest, or will it be a bit more driver friendlier ?

Probably one of the best courses I have driven at BMS, not sure why it wasn't in your car Bob.

I thought it flowed really well in my big beast.

In Bob's defense, it probably was a little more point to point that a lot of courses we've driven there.

...but I liked the course just fine and think this post is out of line.

lol..

I like constructive criticism.. done properly. Bob, sorry ya didnt approve. but, if you felt more than 1 pinched off corner, maybe you were doing it wrong? I didnt look and see what your times were..or PAX standings.
Yep, it was different than most Bristol courses.. on purpose. I dont have anything to prove on designing a fast course.. pretty sure Iv been blasted on that aspect also..

I wanted something that would be fun in a big car.. but also give small cars ample battle activity too.

I think that was provided.

This has been the biggest difference in the big car vs. the little car grips on my end as this course I/we were able to use the cars power if you weren't late on entry and had the right line or if you didn't drive in too deep and were able to power off of the corners, then I was able to use a good amount of throttle. The middle section was a little busy but very manageable if you turned down the hill and didn't push wide it lined up very well which is what a good course is suppose to do, reward you if you take the right lines and punish you if you are late.

I just looked at the pax results..
Top 10 is a mix of HP vs Agile .. and Bob, your Pax position looks about right..
slightly ahead of Lin.

Yeah, 5 cars with less than 250hp, 5 cars with umm more :)

The BMW time in the top 10 was actually from the Miata on Rob's last run. Now, compare that to the Smokies pax

That left hander sucked, as we all agree, but Bob, check yourself.

I loved the course and wish I had more than one shot at it. I thought it was an exceptional use of the site.

Good, I think I shoved the used part special into the first left 180 way too hard and also the the right thing going into the the finish had I had a grip on those elements I might have done better. Just pissed at my self.
