Anyone else planning on attending this Sunday? We will probably need to meet early judging from the last couple and when things started getting going. Officially this starts at 8 but I think we probably need to meet around 6 and roll in pretty soon after that. Last time, several of us got a spot at the entrance closest to Starbuck's at Montvue Rd. We were in the Dillard's parking lot. It seemed like a good place to be. I think Lin and Jeff are planning on bringing the van and trailer.

We plan on going. Will probably try and cruise through the mountains after to look at the leaves. Either thru Smokies or Cherohala skyway if anyone is interested too.

I'm planning on bringing the Miata. I'm going to Park the trailer over at the shopping center where the McCalisters and Sprint store is then drive over.

I've NEVER been to one of these things. What should I expect?

More cars than you can imagine. You will probably get a bunch of questions about your car if you hang around it. Usually get a few questions about the club, especially with the van and trailer there.

If you don't use launch control to go back over to the shopping center.....then don't bother coming back to autocross with us :D

Would it be ok for me to just bring the car onto the site in the trailer then? I would feel A LOT better about that.

And I would LOVE to do that.....but I don't want to go to jail. I could be prodded into warming it up and bringing it up on the two step though :)

Heck, people would probably be impressed by the trailer too.

Some people bring trailers and park them near the Sears Auto area and just move the car to a more relevant spot.
