Local domestic shop that doesn't suck?

Big "recommendation thread" isn't very specific on this point and search didn't yield anything although I'm sure it's been discussed.

Short version: '99 mountaineer likely needs a fuel pump (some troubleshooting pending), and I don't have time to DIY. Any shops around here who would do that, change the trans fluid while it's on the lift, and not attempt to hose me in the process?

Thanks, all of the children have decided to rebel this fall/winter it seems. Own 4 cars, 1 runs, lol (sad "lol" though).

I cant comment on this as I think the same. Who is down to earth on pricing without the hook and line? Any one know a real I'll fix your shit right place for under 85 plus an hour? Just asken without the hose.

Those arnt too bad if I remember correctly. just make sure its low on fuel

Ill pm you some numbers if ya still need it repaired. ?

V8 or 6cyl? 2wd or 4 ?
