alternator re-builder?

Dana's daughters car, 2020 Nissan Altima 2.5 4 cyl, had its alternator crap out. Are there any local places that have decent parts or ability to rebuild alternators? I've just bought the brushes/regulator for my VW's and did it myself. I'm not finding a genuine parts supplier for Nissan Hitachi alternators so far.

It has a reman unit in there now. I hate the thought of "lifetime warranty" parts you have to change 3-6 times to get a decent one.

It has been a while but I was able to buy parts for Toyota starters and alternators from Quality Rebuilders. They have either moved or gone out of business since I was there about 20 years ago.

I have a friend at work that has used Alternators of Knoxville on Boyds Bridge Pike and he recommends them.

She got it via time warp 8)

It's a 2002. I can do the online purchase and get 20%-25% coupon code to buy online and pick up in store from Advance auto. Probably what I will do.. even Gabby's reputation on Sutherland has gone down hill.

Gabby has been gone from there for a while. They might be a good place to check for brushes, though.
