ETR Family Member in need of support

Post by Teufelshund »

Hey guys, I received a PM from Tim Ray last night and he asked me to let you all know what was going on. His daughter, who many of us have met, locked herself in her room and threatened suicide on Wednesday. He was able to get her out and take her to a children's mental health facility. Visitation is very limited and I know this is an unfathomably diffucult time for Tim and Bron. Please keep their family in your thoughts and prayers.

I ask you not to bombard them with texts and PMs at this time. Instead, let them know you're thinking about/praying for them here on the board. ETR is a tight-knit family and I know it'll mean the world to them. Please keep this off Facebook for obvious reasons.

Wow... so sorry to hear this but I'm glad she is ok and hopefully getting the help she needs. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.

Update:

Tim and Bron were able to visit with her today and said she was doing much better. They all sat around and talked for a couple hours and had her laughing and in good spirits. They hope to have her home soon!

That's some good news. I'm praying for the Ray family and hope things work themselves out.

Our most positive thoughts go out to the Rays. Having recently gone thru this with one of ours, it is the kind of hell that no parent wants for their kids. Hope they get her straightened out and in a better place emotionally very soon!
