I haven't.... until now. Looks like they mainly focus on 84 up models. I like some of those designs, but they don't have anything in an 18X8 that I need for the front. :(

On the subject of the Forgestars, have any of you tried to get Forgestar to honor their warranty, or are you just taking Sam's no as a final answer?

According to the website, Forgestar has an express warranty of one year that they are free from defects in materials and workmanship. Its not unusual for a vendor to refuse to offer a replacement, but they will normally help walk a customer through the warranty process.

Forgestars response to anything other than a perfect wheel is that it was damaged after it left the factory. That’s what they told my vendor.

Wheel update on my new forgestars, balance on one perfect and the other just a tiny tiny wobble, barely visible.

This is Forgestar's response, when I contacted them directly. They didn't respond to my second message. In the end, I had to buy another new wheel.

Hello,

I bought a set of Forgestar F14 wheels last year. They stayed boxed up till today, when I had a set of tires mounted on them. One of the 18x9.5 wheels has a radial runout that is out of spec. How do I get the return process started and how quickly do I get the new wheel?

Attached are screen caps from the balancing machine and the purchase receipt.

Thanks,
Kristo

Hello,

All our wheels are inspected before they get shipped out from our facility. This must of happen during shipping even though the boxes may look ok. Even with the way we double box them we have encountered it before. Since you still have the original boxes we would suggest you to contact UPS to establish a claim and we can proceed from there.

Thanks,

Kind Regards,

Alex,

Do you have the records for quality checks? I need to prove to the UPS that the wheel was not bent before they were shipped. Also, if Forgestar double boxes the wheels and they still get damaged, you have the change the packaging or the shipper. I'm left with a damaged wheel at this point with no recourse except to complain on the Corvette forum. Even if I order a new wheel, who's to say it doesn't happen again?

I'd probably just sue them at that point and see what happens.
