2017 Ford dually
2017 Ford dually
Just big props for my new dually as Steve and I went to peru Indiana and coming home hitting the Jellico Mountain that 6.7 diesel never came out of 6th gear or went below 75 mph. This thing is a beast. If you are towing heavy loads I would look at the 6.7 from ford.

Re: 2017 Ford dually
I've been extremely happy with mine as well. I'm pulling my 28' enclosed bumper pull with a regular receiver hitch, no weight distribution hitch or sway bars and it pulls fine. I may add a weight distribution setup at some point, just for added ride quality, but it's definitely not necessary. It's also a very quiet and comfortable ride.

When did they start using the 6.7? Around 2010? Any big differences in the 6.7 over the years?

I think some changes in the 6.7 over the years but it is 991 foot pounds of torque and coming up Jellico mountain without gearing down and without losing speed was impressive.

My understanding is that a lot of reliability improvements were made in 2015 (mostly concerning all the emissions crap).
