Ladies and Gentlemen,

We are in need of amending our bylaws once again. Pursuant to Art. VI of our current bylaws, we will be amending our current bylaws (link here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wvomcas3fb011 ... 9.pdf?dl=0) and replacing them with these proposed bylaws(link here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xxk9w5qzyct1w ... 3.doc?dl=0).

The vote to amend shall occur at the September meeting, and ALL ETRSCCA members (not just officers and board members) will be able to vote on them.

If anyone has any issues with what has been proposed, please speak up and offer your suggestions. I also urge you to attend and vote in the management of your club.

I received a comment by a member that arrived via PM on dropbox. I'll address it here for open comment by all members. The comment was basically "we need to make changes to Section 10 because once you remove the person to be expelled, we could have a tie situation between the remaining 10 board members."

Section 10 actually requires a 2/3 majority of the remaining members, which would be 7 members voting for expulsion (10x.667= 6.67 rounded up to 7) so its impossible to split in a 5-5 vote, as that would be insufficient to meet the voting requirement anyway.

The person that PM'ed me realized their mistake after posting, but I wanted to address this in the open forum in case anyone else was confused or had questions about the voting procedure.
