Good Subaru Shop

Post by disneyd »

A friend of Jess's is in need of a good independent Subaru shop. It sounds like she's going to need a good used 2.5 swapped into her 2009 Outback/Forester. Grayson did a head gasket job on it after she told them it ran out of oil (due to the HG leak) and then it dropped a valve the next week.

Are there any good shops in the Knoxville area?

City Limit Motors headed out toward Clinton has a good reputation. That's the only real independent I know. Fastech obviously, but they're more about hopping one up than fixing. Still, they might be up for it.

I've got an appointment at fastech for next week. They have a two-three week lead time for almost anything currently.

I'm actually dropping mine at Fastech today. Ive used them for years, mostly for simple things i just cant do on my own in a gravel driveway. They do usually have a wait, but they're honest, do good work and are reasonably priced. Any they'll be a lot closer than City Limit for you.
