Bought a new trailer from Kaufman in Lexington, NC and brought it back to Jess’s parents in Asheville. Packed the trailer and as I was pulling away a hard brake line on the truck (‘01 2500 HD) popped.
It’s the line for the front brakes between the MC and the ABS unit (on the frame rail). I’m going to see if I can find a patch line but I’m afraid this is one of those deals where they used 1/4” brake line with a not-a-1/4” fitting, so I may not be able to do anything.
Anyone willing to loan a truck or let me rent some of their time? I can’t leave the trailer where it is too long and I can move it now. I have AAA so I can get the truck towed home if need be.
