Looking for recommendations. I've used safelite the past two times, but this time around they're wanting $375 to do my subaru when last time i think it was more the $250 range. Ideally i'd like to not have to leave the car and come back, or better have them come to my work.

In the past, I have used the auto glass place on Lovell Rd next to the interstate. They now have a Safelite sign up on the building so that could be the place you contacted.

Last time Safelite came to me and had it done in an hour or so. Great service and would totally use again, but im puzzled by the huge jump in price in just a couple months. Damn COVID...

Used Safelite for replacement on Dana's Honda after huge hail storm as they were one of the few that come to you and had a scheduler working at 1am.. They kept selling the glass out from under us even though I was one of the first to call. Eventually got it done. Guy that came out did a good job.

Recently, Phoenix Glass on Clinton hwy standard price is the same price as Safelite after Safelite applied a coupon. $210 to replace windshield and seal on a $1500 KBB value Suburban is hard to swallow when the glass is clear and its just the seal thats leaking. So, cant personally say how well Pheonix work is yet, but they have had good reputation for the N. Knox area for 30 years.
