Just a random question.
The 200 treadwear tires say not to run them in 43 degree temps and under. March 7 the forecast for BMS low of 28 and high of 56.
Do you just run them and hope for the best that they do not get damaged ?? Thanks, Paul Heathman

I have the same concern with my tires as cracking has happened with my tires. As of right now it's supposed to be over 40 degrees by 10 on both days. So I plan to drive up (start in garage) so my tires will be above 40 to start and will stay warm the entire trip. Then park until 10. I feel pretty confident that we won't start runs before 10 on Sunday. As I understand it the real concern with tires is letting them get below 40 degrees then rolling them when cold. I also think there is some fudge factor at 40 so they are probably ok a little below that. Now if I was parked for a while and it was 25 out I don't think I would move it.
Of course all of this is my opinion from a little research and your mileage may vary. :D

Thanks for your thoughts on this. That gives me something to think about.
I usually trailer mine to the event . Could park the car in the garage and load it on the trailer that mooring.
Just purchased new tires, so do not want to ruin them. Might play it safe and run my everyday street tires. Just not sure.
Thanks again. Paul Heathman
