Going through the old posts, there seems to be a few recurring themes. I would like to get some ideas together for an Autocross FAQ or roadrace or (club) rally cross, whatever - just that most people on the board are autocrossers.

A few questions that I have noticed that come up very frequently.

What kind of tires do I need?

What should I do to my car before I autocross?

What kind of helment should I buy (do I need)?

What class will I be in? - **I think all the stock classes or on the ETRSCCA home site??? Maybe we could clean those up?**

Where can I buy some magnetics?

Now, some of this stuff is actually answered in the Solo II novice handbook, but I was hoping for something a little more detailed.

Please comment on any sort of questions that should be added, and any of you guys that know what your talking about, feel free to come up with the answers to the above questions....just type something up and post it here. Once we get all the ideas together, Dave can make a sticky FAQ and delete this post
