Hey you Spec Miata guys, how much do these tires cost in your size?
They are going to make a size for me and I might try them if I can wait that long.

It seems spec miatas are great choice to start SCCA club racing. I like your miata, but some of your mods do exceed their specifications, unfortunately.Mark McCrary wrote:I don't have a spec miata but I have one that is faster than one on a autocross course. You should buy it.

Yep, I thought I had the car sold to a guy who was interested but it has the 1.8 liter engine. I thought that the bigger engine would help sell my car but it hurts it for the road racer. I would like to get a spec miata but I would wreck first thing and be out of a lot of money.

I just talked to the one dealer in the U.S. that is carrying the Z211, and some other sizes will be available in January. But not my size. The only 16" size is a 225.
The current Miata tire is priced in the $125 range. I would expect the 16" to be in the $140s which will put them in between the Kumho and Hoosiers as far as price. All of this is guess work on my part.
