I guess this works but I haven't used this format much. I have several images that I could use for Avitars but they are way too big. I couldn't find any information on this in the FAQ. How do you make an image smaller. The one I would like to use is 200KB.

Thanks!

Mark I've got a couple pictures of your car that look pretty good...I'll try to make them small and maybe email them to you...what's your email address again?

I'll be glad to size/crop and host avatar pics for anyone. Just e-mail the photo you want to use.

Also, I'll add a darker style for you night owls to use (good suggestion, Billy)

How do you use an avatar :?: As best I can tell you have to have one on a webpage somewhere in cyber land and link to it.

Testing. Couldn't resist competing with Chris's Prodrive logo

Yes, it has to be posted somewhere. I usually find a pic I like, download it to my computer, then upload it to my comcast webspace and link to that. That way, if the original site changes, you won't get a broken link. Of course, that also means I've got a bunch of picture files cluttering up my online storage space.

David, I see the time of your last post -- didn't you go to Nashville?

We had a good time in Chat. although somewhat cold. Good results.

Yeah, I went. Weather was great! A little chilly early in the morning, but nice by 10:30 or so. The wind left us alone too.

How was the turnout in Chatt? Anything interesting to tell?

Ha! I figured it out! Now I'll have to find a better looking picture.

Something I have noticed that the old board did and I can't find on this one is updating you when there is a new message in a thread. I liked the little red numbers that let you know how many new posts were on a thread since you were on last. Am I just missing the clue on this one?

the little "note" icon to the left of th ethread title will chage colors when there is a new post in the thread or forum.

Hope this reply works... By the way this message board looks great. Not that the other one had any problems either. Thanks for all the hard work, David.
