Remind me what you drive everyday. What do I drive everyday? :P
I've been driving some form of fourth gen for over 12 years. :P

I'd rather drive a gay Miata before lowering myself to the ranks of a Honda driver.

Wayne and Guffey are good guys, no need to drag them into this!

John, can you fit a glasspack after all the bends in the piping, right at the bumper? That's how my exhaust is setup, and it's not too loud (dunno if you listened yesterday--but you probably wouldn't have been able to hear it anyway  ). I'd probably keep the stock piping after the cat as well, unless you're wanting to go with something larger. I'm fairly convinced that you're not going to see any worthwhile gains unless you hack off or replace the cat, anyway. Of course, that 4' straight section under the middle of the car sounds like a good place for a high-flow cat... 8)

I'd recommend Quick-O on Magnolia. Yes, it's a seedy area, and yes, it's a seedy place, but I've had two different exhausts on two different cars done by them, and they did a great job at a great price both times.
