Atlanta A-X tomorrow... !

Sitting way up on the balcony of the Motel at Hartsville watchin planes land tonight... wondering how Ill do at the Atlanta Mtr Speedway event... 22+ Pro drivers in the class.. wow.

I swear it as intense as a National Tour. lol been a long time since I ran here.

I will wear my shirt proudly!!!!! You know, if one has the opportunity to race on a HUGE lot like Atlanta , one should take it!!!!! This is where the stiff competion is, like the Nationals!!! Our local events are good and you can learn alot.....dont get me wrong..... but you really need to take the opportunity to race bigger venues, like Atlanta when given the chance!!!

Holy cow.... to have access to a lot like that would be awesome More fun than 95% of the National courses Iv ran.
It was a bitter sweet day for me tho. After being late to grid for silly reasons,I was one of the first out in our group. My second run was leading Pro Class by almost .7 tenths raw,over Tim Smith..but they called in a cone and I didnt feel as if I hit one or even really close. So I made run 3 and had a near perfect run,but a worker was running to get the second to last cone in the course from the previous car... (Kristo) and I could stop for worker... and try to duplicate the run...or keep it matted. Guess which I did... guess who got the cone call??? me.

So my final I had one person watching the top part and another keeping an eye on the bottom for cones. I had my fastest run this time.. and would have been second for the day..but they called in another cone!!!!!!!!! dammiTT I knew I didnt hit one. So my two spotters both agreed that NO CONES were hit on my run... what do ya do??

I still had a great time..Saturday night and Sunday both!! Ill be spending lots more time down there for sure.. Maybe some of you guys or gals will trek down also.

no Dave thats At Mtr Speedway lot.. It was suPeR bumpy! no,didnt seem too interested in changing the score. I read this morning on their forums where another guy in Pro admitted to hitting a cone and DID not get counted.. LOL! I posted that It was counted.... on me. Hell Im fine wit it.. I know how fast I went,and to be .4 off Tim and still beat Tommy Pulliam.. Im ok with that. I cant wait to go back. Thats the element we cant build here with our lots.. SPEED. and constant momentum. There was 4 cars on course at some points.

How do you figure? Going by the Pro results it was 1.1 and by overall results 0.9

it was .9 I didnt proof read. Tim 55.716 me 56.644 still good enough for 2nd overall. Im fine with that. knowing I did not hit no cone. and video to back it up for the most part..especially where they "think" I may have gotten the cone.

I'm living in a nice glass house . I'm still puzzled how I got beat by 3 and 2 seconds respectively, while in Toledo I was .2 off over 2 days. 3 seconds really is a lifetime in solo.

There is not any single element that could account for so much time, so it has to be my abysmal driving. It just sucks that I've been doing this for a while now in this type of car and class AND to me it felt like I was going fast.
