2011 Registration and Timing Workers

Post by thrdeye »

Hi everyone, I'm posting to get a group of registration and timing workers together. We need about 12-14 total. Event chairs will post signups before each event to secure a team for that event, and we'll try to rotate workers as much as possible, since it's easy to get burned out.

Requirements:

1) You show up regularly already and are early.
2) You know your way around a computer at an ok level. Don't need to be Bill Gates, but being efficient with Windows is necessary
3) You know, or are willing to learn, the timing rules, classing rules, membership rules, etc.

Workers:

1 - Dave Disney
2 - Chris Harp
3 - Jordi Dunn (Registration Only)
4 - David Guffey (Timing Only)
5 - Dave Sill
6 - Walter Jones
7 - Richard Graves
8 - Dewey (Timing)
9 - Marcus (Timing)
10 -
11 -
12 -
13 -
14 -

Thanks, but I thought you were primarily a setup/teardown person?

My goal here is to get a reliable group together. Not saying you're NOT realiable, but I think ideally, if you're part of the group and not working timing or registration that day, you should get to do something easier like work course or something to prevent having too much responsibility all the time.

Open to thoughts on this.

I'm willing to learn registration, but it'll have to be on the job training... 2 1/2 hrs to K town... :(

plus on the 30th I'll be at CMP 8)

Too bad I will be at reunion that weekend though.

Missed the bit about during blythville... I'll be there. And I'd prefer not on registration. I require too much car prep and course walks the morning of.
