ETR #3 is in the books!

Post by John Brown »

I want to thank all who helped today with set up and tear down..and all the points in between..
I hope all the drivers had a good time on course.. I hope also that if you think your time was wrong you brought it up to timing before the end of the day... I had some screwy times on the computer..but I know what the display said when I exited the course..and from what Iv heard..the display was right. That was the time you needed to go to timing and scoring and set it straight... Hope you all did that. I got a nuther comment or two later, concerning grouping but that can wait for now....

Thanks again for all the help today to all you guys and gals !!!!

Just so everybody knows, I made it home without incident. Big thanks to Mark P. for giving me a ride to get bolts. Also big thanks to Ted for hanging around so I wouldn't be laying in the parking lot alone. Good folks. That's why ETR is special.

Good fun as always. I enjoyed the course, and it's always good to see everyone.

Had a great time out at my first ETR event! Fun course, John (even if I was not the quickest thing out there!) Mark, thanks for the pointers and for the walkthrough with the novices. Looking forward to ETR#4.

Thank you. That was a fun course and it worked well to my benifit. Finally picked up my long awaited win in STM. Im still trying not to make ego get to far out of control.

Good course that I never obviously got right. The downhill portion screwed me up completely, and when I didn't spin my runs were dirty. :?

Oh, well. As much as it annoyed me, there will be other events. I'm working on finished editing and uploading my best run and my epic fails.

Congrats, Eric, you obviously did what I couldn't do today.

And another one to Chris for placing second!

Something, something, something, prepare yourself as I shall return victorious, something, something, something.

Thanks:
Guffey for letting me run your me-otter. Sorry you having such a bad week.
Seanan for letting me run your miata
Darby for letting me run your miata
Kristo for letting me put numbers on the car then realising it doesn't bump to STS not running it.

whew.. was there any other cars I drove that I forgot about? I'm just glad I remembered what miata I left my cell phone in..

Sound summery will be up some time later today, I hope.

I hadn't autocrossed for 8 months, so I was a little rusty. A great testament to how well Disney's Miata is setup....point, shoot, mash the gas, respectable time guaranteed.

Thanks Dave for letting me drive.
