I know this is hard to answer, especially if no one has driven it at speed, but how bumpy is bumpy?

I would say Gwinnett Fairgrounds would be a decent comparison.

Sounds great. I'll be stuck at the wedding rehearsal / rehearsal dinner, so good luck with the event.

Yep, the Fairgrounds side......and on a few occasions down the hill and into the fence, next to to sidewalk on Magnolia, and on one ocassion ..... STRETCHED the fence to the median between east/west bound lanes of Magnolia :0 ....... an SSB Citation that was airborne across the sidewalk and the east bound lanes. Interesting how the chainlink absorbed all the energy and gently set the car down in the median. This was one of the old "dollar" runs after the points runs, with a driver who had never been in this vehicle before. Kinda like the old saying, the most likely times race crashes occurr is warmup and cool down laps. The other contributing factor was the slighty rotated pedal arrangement of the X-11, as the rent-a driver went thru the fence at WOT, thinking he had stabbed the brake .......... :0
This new Solo in the Park sounds like a fun event. Thanks to all involved in putting it together.

I remember it well - I won't name names, heh.

The Citation was fully race prepared, a pleasure to drive hard. It was an X-11 V6 5 speed car. Pretty competitve at the time in SSB.

The car owner was one of the first two licensed safety stewards in ETR.

Another contributing factor *may* have been that the rent-a driver had just successfully completed a dollar run in a DP MG Midget running ~10" autocross slicks. That DP Midget was the regular FTD threat in those days. I'm sure the rent-a drivers' dollar run in the Midget approached FTD. He was a competent + dedicated autocrosser.

I am certain that the driver inputs required for the (missed) 90 degree turn at the bottom of the hill varied wildly between the 1500lb DP buzzbomb on big slicks and the 3000lb HS(?) FWD Citation on shaved Eagle GTs. I always suspected that might have had a little something to do with it.

Be careful what you wish for during fun runs - sometimes you're the windshield, someday you could end up being the bug.

No, I was not the rent-a driver.

Oh yeah, that was the last time ETR did dollar runs for a looooong time.
