This is a shoot out that pays cash in Atlanta and I would think that some folks would rather run for money than just for fun. JY

I don't autocross to make money, but I definitely would go to Atlanta over Bristol, especially since there is no Atlanta tour this year.

In my experiences, not autocrossing seems to be more lucrative...

Re: ETR 2012 Solo Schedule
Dave Yoder can chime in, but I doubt there is any choice on the Bristol date.
This is a good opportunity to get our foot back in the door at Bristol. A good turnout at the Bristol charity event would be a positive thing for our club and might pave the way for future BMS events.
If you'd like to support your local club, come to the BMS event.

Also, if you are using the possibility of winning money in your decision, if you haven't at least trophied in a good class at a tour, your not going to win anything at the Atlanta event. It will be top dogs only. I understand that ATL is awesome and all, put if you're wanting more sites besides PSTCC (which we all are) then you should consider that in your decision.

Re: ETR 2012 Solo Schedule
Have you ever run at Bristol? The most recent courses there have had at least one element that is more fun for the higher hp cars. It's a big, open surface. It's my favorite "local" site that ETR has used since I've been around.jcox07 wrote:I would go to atlanta just for the experience over Bristol.JY

+1. Without getting into speeds and other things we don't discuss on the message board, its not your typical ETR event.TennTechMan wrote:Have you ever run at Bristol? Eric and I used to really enjoy the Bristol events in our under prepped ASP cars. I even drove Ryan's car at one of those events and had a blast... it was worth the trip.
