EvoSchool is official!!

Post by MARKP »

After years of trying to get this done with an acceptable site, we have an Evolution School coming to ETR! This is a Phase 1 school that gives you the foundation to the later Evoluntion Schools.

Talk this up to your friends locally and in other regions. Sign up early. This will likely fill quickly.

Do we have an event there the next day? Would someone participating in the evolution school be able to attend our event on sunday at a discounted rate?

Also, check out the porsche on the sign in page. It has a mazdaspeed banner on the windshield. sweet

The school is separate from the event the next day. Sorry but there are no discounts available.

I signed up last night. On the off chance that my car won't be ready by then, I assume I can sell my slot?

What site/location is this in Morristown?

$250, is that the normal going rate for the school?

$250 is the lowest price you will see for an EvoSchool.

I would think you could sell your spot if needed. You could always drive the Z or Miata if the Canadian isn't ready.

Miata is the backup, but I need this school to knock off a lot of rust. Its been over a year since the last time the Camaro turned a wheel in anger, and a lot of stuff has been changed since then.

I'll ask Jr. about it. I have never seen a mod car at a school but I'm sure there is a way to work with it.

Chad,

I have done several schools with Mod cars and we work with you outside the car and you will get a lot from the school. If I were you I would run another car where you can ride with the instructor rather run your car. The way you set-up turns if rear wheel drive would be about the same just the speed would change.

If you have never taken one of these schools its a lot to learn and look at those drivers that have taken Evo schools and see how fast they are. I take a phase 1 about every two years and glad that I do.

Chad,

Here's the response from Jr. "singles seaters are not ideal and I wouldn't suggest it, but we could make it work. Again not ideal."

I agree with what Robert said. You get a lot from the school no matter what you drive. Being in something rear wheel drive would be beneficial even if it isn't what you are racing. There are a lot of tips that apply to cars across the board.

Something I forgot to mention in the first post, please feel free to post the Evoschool link to other regions or your facebook page. The more people we get signed up the more beneficial it is to our region and the more likely we are to get a Phase 2 or Challenge school in the future. I don't have access to Chattanooga's web page so if someone could post it there, that would be great.
