I think that is a solid assumption.

Can a novice run in both the novice pax and the street tire pax? Or should I just stay in CS until I use up novice eligibility?

Well, as excited I was about this new tire class deal. I checked the rulebook this morning to see if my winter modifications would alter my vehicle class and it appears that my camshafts bump my car out the Street Prepared category. So that leaves me to choose from STM or TSM. At first this was disappointing, but I now realize that regardless of which class I run, I will be able to rearrange the letters on the car and I won't need any new ones!

I have two sets of 315/35-17 Hoosier A6's that would make for some good starter autox tires (wouldn't run nationals, but would be good for local events) that I would sell for $200 total. The purple crack is calling your name. 8)

You could also strip the interior, put plexiglass windows in it, and run XP. No need to thank us.

Lol I'll start saving now. I'll probably run TSM. I would have to take a saw saw to the fender wells to get 315s in it lol

Looks like you understand what we're talking about. That's where the "modified" part of Street Modified comes in.

I couldn't do that to the poor car. I spend too much time cleaning it to cut it up. Lol maybe someday I guess

The more you cut, the less you have to clean. :D

If you aren't man enough for 315's, a jackhandle and 285's should work too...

I agree, a handle of jack and you'll have the fenders wide enough for 335s!

I don't know about you, but my Jack doesn't have a handle. However, with enough Jack we can do anything.
