Still gotta get my 245 Star Specs mounted. They'll be slick as ice come Sunday, though.

^^^^ This is why I am running street tires at this first one.

I'm ready, and excited.

Just got some small things fixed up on the car yesterday. Gonna try and reinstall the mudflaps in a more permanent manner today after work, then she should be good to go. Really can't wait to just show up and run and not have to change tires, lol.

Not I :(... I want to use up the old 888's at the TGPR track day, then I will put on the RE-11s for STM class. I spose I just be in SSM for the first class. Also can't get the more power until late May (at best). Still looking forward to it!!

Chris what size RPF-1's did you get? I didn't know they came in gold either. Looks good!

17x8. I had them machined down to a legal offset too.

That's cool. I really like the wheels. I hope to eventually run 17x10 rpf's in that sbc finish

Already starting with the excuses 5 days before the event?! :pirate:

I'm pretty pumped. We got Marc's brakes sorted so we won't have to completely avoid the middle pedal during runs.. the little-red-car-that-could paxed 9th in the only event I ran it in last year; I'll be extremely excited once we get the new XIDA setup on the car - these 90 lb/in springs and blown shocks don't help a bit in slaloms.

But.. rusted, ineffective suspension won't prevent me from beating 95% of the STM field (including Marcus ) in raw time with a 95 whp miata :fight:

New Spal radiator fans (old main fan was starting to wobble)
Upgraded to version 2.7 of the Hydra ECU. Had to re-tune the car. Its about 98% now and is autocrossable. Just need to tweak it a little more here and there.
New RS3 Hankooks.
New alignment

Went up to the dragon last weekend to scrub the tires in and start figuring tire pressures out. Those RS3s aren't bad.

So, I guess I'm as ready as I'm going to be.

 Not at all, but I won't have a chance to drive on them to get rid of the mold release crap, so they shall be slick. ;)

Sounds like the Miata is well known its way to being a better ax vehicle. :D
