Registered! For some reason I had it in mind that the Bristol event was a Saturday & Sunday deal? Dunno where I got that from. How much $ to make a pass on the strip?

I want to hear more about the drag strip as well. Is it autocross cars only? Or are tow vehicles allowed?

I've got a possible sponsor in the works for this event and he will be contacting Dave Yoder tonight for more details. A guy I work with is involved with Robby Gordon's new line of energy drinks Speed Energy. Keep your fingers crossed and we might all be running around Bristol jacked up on energy drinks!

Can anyone who frequents other local forums (Chattanooga, Nashville, StreetCarForums) and Facebook (or other social media) post about this event there? We'd like to get as many attendees as possible.
Thanks

I'm interested in information on the drag strip portion of the event also.
1. Does a person who wishes to run a car down the dragstrip have to also compete in the autocross?
2. Could you compete in the autocross in one car and then run the dragstrip in a different one?
3. Costs/ Requirements?

I am almost equally as excited about the drag strip haha. I want to see if I can get into the 11's. I may try to get NOS before Bristolflier129 wrote:whatevs, it runs 10.9s..........ke0ki2k wrote:I bet I could coax a blistering 18 second pass in Marc's 90 horse Miata
