FYI.....I have reserved 3 rooms.... JY and I are staying 8/31-9/8 and I guess JB will be staying 8/31-8/5 ...the other room is available ..... I have cancelled the RV's. Please let me know who would like the room and if I need to reserve more rooms....they will go FAST! If you do call, ask for Margaret and mention my name.....

No Rife you didn't ....i cancelled the RV's when I got the great deals on the rooms! Its all good. Rumor has it there may be a RV in our paddock...

Got the third room! Awesome job, Lin. They quoted me something like $124/night before they found you in the system.

Now about this Peru thing...

Before registration even opened I booked my room @ what used to be the suburban extended stay. It's in town, so it's about a 10 minute drive to site, but it's an easy drive.

Also, I got it for $45/night. No pool or fancy ammenities, but has a full kitchen, and you can walk to all the night spots if that's your thing. Buffalo Wild wings is walkable as well.

I'll be getting there on Saturday or Sunday morning depending on if Kim flies in early.

And Mark,as far as Peru goes, I think Comfort Inn might still have rooms. I got mine a few weeks ago with no issues. Lots of places.

Grissom Inn might still be there.. CHEAP rooms but no interent reservations I think. You could drive on the R-comps to the hotel it's that close.

I'll check them out. I used to stay at Motel 6 because I could walk to Damon's but Damon's is long gone now and the Motel 6 kind of sucked.
